Introduction

In November this year I am going to attempt to run 42km of off road track to help raise money for the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation New Zealand.
The run will be a huge challenge for me, given that I’m not at all a natural runner. It’s going to hurt. However any suffering that is involved will pail in significance to the battle that people fighting leukaemia and other forms of blood cancer go through every day.
I became inspired to take part in this event after finding out that one of my own family members had been diagnosed with leukaemia, late last year. So, while I’m still blessed with good health, I have decided that this event is a fantastic way to raise funds and increase awareness of this worthy cause.
I would really appreciate your help to reach my target of $1000. I’ll run the 42km, all you would have to do is make a small donation. Even if it’s only a few dollars, every little bit helps!
