Introduction

Life’s challenges can at times seem insurmountable until you break them down and tackle them day by day, or in Mals’ case step by step. Last year I completed the Kepler challenge with one eye on the endeavours of a guy called Mal. Mals’ story and desire to raise money for the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation is inspiring and has motivated me to set myself another seemingly insurmountable goal and join Mal on his amazing 7 day odyssey through the scenic wonderland of the NZ Southern Lakes. I will show my support for Mals’ vision by joining him on Day 5,6&7. I will need to be at the peak of fitness to survive the tough physical challenges this will present but know as hard and difficult as this will at times be, it is nothing compared to the battle that everyday people with leukaemia and other forms of blood cancer fight. The money raised by the 7in7 Challenge goes directly into helping patients and families living with leukaemia. Your support is hugely appreciated. Thanks
