Introduction

Well after tha last marathon I did I swore I would never do one again so here I am doing another one-it must be for something special!!

I love the idea of setting out on a challenging adventure to raise money for a great cause. So the inspiring story of Mal’s 7in7 Challenge has motivated me to get out there and run my heart out for the good of others less fortunate than myself.

I will joining in Day 1 (and maybe 7!) of Mal's amazing 7-days of running through the scenic wonderland of New Zealand’s Southern Lakes. It is going to be tough and I’ll need to be at a peak of fitness to survive it. But any suffering that is involved pales into insignificance alongside the battle that people fighting leukaemia and other forms of blood cancer are going through every day.

The money raised by the 7in7 Challenge goes directly into helping patients and families living with leukaemia. Your support is hugely appreciated. Thanks.
