Introduction

This is crazy stuff, for mad people on a mission. Of course I'm in boots and all. I'm in for day 1 (or at least some of it), day 2 (Wilkins- Young Circuit) and Kepler (day 7). I really hope I've not bitten off more than I can chew this time. But then the cause is worth it. Any suffering that is involved pales into insignificance alongside the battle that people fighting leukaemia and other forms of blood cancer are going through every day, and what's more I HAVE A CHOICE. That's way more than many families have, and I count my blessings. I'm going to have to be super fit just to survive. Looks like I'll clock up "well over 1000kms" of training. That's lots of hours, so it's lucky the others are crazy too and we can share the adventure.
Please help me to support others with less choices.
