Introduction

The Twin Lakes Marathon is on my birthday, so the best present you can give me this year is to donate to the important Leukaemia & Blood Foundation.

I am training hard for the marathon right now and am really looking forward to the beautiful run between Lake Hawea and Lake Wanaka. And all this hard work is going towards a very important cause.

The LBF is the main organisation we have here that is dedicated to supporting patients and their families living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood conditions.

For over 30 years they have been relying on fundraising events and support from companies, trusts, grants and you. They do not receive government funding.

Funding goes to their core services which are: patient support, research, information, awareness and advocacy.

Please support the LBF by sponsoring me on my birthday marathon.

Keep letting your friends and family know, still got over $1200 to go, I know we can get there!

I've been training hard, running more than I've ever run in my life. This will be my first marathon and it's taking all of my willpower to get my body ready for it. It's gonna be a great feeling when I'm doing it on the day!

I did it! In about 6hrs 15mins I think. Hardest bloody thing I've ever done. And look at those donations woohoo! You guys rock!
