Julian Pettit

Introduction

My name is Julian Pettit and I am a GP in Wanaka. I love getting out into the back of beyond in our beautiful country and love running/biking on all the great tracks that are springing up around Wanaka. The story of Mal's 7in7 challenge has caught my eye and if I can keep fit and raise money for this worthy event then all the better.

I will be doing the first day of the challange which is from Lake Hawea to Wanaka and either a Half or full Marathon if I feel up to it.Many of my patient's have forms of blood cancer and their stories are inspirational as often these cancers are both treatable and survivable due to the treatment's developed by both haematologists and oncologists in recent times. These cures are often difficult and risky at times.

The money raised by the 7in7 Challenge goes directly into helping patients and their families living with leukaemia. Your support is hugely appreciated. Thanks.
