Introduction

I love the idea of setting out on a challenging adventure to raise money for a great cause. So the inspiring story of Mal’s 7in7 Challenge has gripped me and motivated me to get out there and run my heart out for the good of others less fortunate than myself.
I will be showing my support for Mal’s vision and belief by joining in Day 1 (Lake Hawea to Glendhu Bay, Lake Wanaka) of his amazing 7-day odyssey through the scenic wonderland of New Zealand’s Southern Lakes. It's a marathon distance day and is going to be tough considering I'm less fit than usual at the moment. But any suffering that is involved pales into insignificance alongside the battle that people fighting leukaemia and other forms of blood cancer are going through every day.
The money raised by the 7in7 Challenge goes directly into helping patients and families living with leukaemia. Your support is hugely appreciated. Thanks.

Bec, to raise more funds - the higher the amount donated, the higher your running shorts length will go. You'll soon be running around in knickers, but think of all the money. What do you think?
